Lawsuit over judges’ donations lands in Montgomery

Fifteen years ago, Alabama passed a law requiring judges to recuse themselves from cases involving lawyers who have donated more than $2,000 to their campaigns. The law has never been enforced. Anniston City Councilman Ben Little has filed a suit in federal court to put teeth into the law.
